Product & Process

Take a good top-view photo or make a scan (full color works better than black & white) of the recipe before ordering. Most phone cameras work great! Just make sure to take the picture with your phone parallel with the recipe and avoid shadows. On the product page you will see a button to upload your recipe before adding the to cart.

We have a great team of designers that are able to clean up even old and dirty recipes. We are not able to remaster the recipe (bring back missing or stained  parts of text) If our team is concerned about the quality of a recipe a Canvastry team member will reach out to you before printing.

Yes! After we receive your recipe and clean it up we will email you the final image. At that time you can approve your recipe proof or let us know if you want to make any further changes.

Unless otherwise requested we extract only the handwritten part of the recipe. We exclude lines, artwork from the paper and text such as “from the kitchen of” or “feeds __” unless otherwise noted. You can request to leave certain aspects of the recipe when adding to cart and our graphic designers will gladly oblige.

Yes, we can print an image or photo along with your recipe. There are two upload boxes per item. Please upload the photo along with your recipe when ordering. In the "special instructions" section which follows let us know where you would like to have the image placed.

Yes! When ordering your product upload both sides of the recipe and our graphic designers will combine them into a single print.

Yes. Upload the recipes together when placing your order. The recipes will be stacked one atop another and combined into a single print.

We currently ship to the US & Canada. If you would like to order outside of these countries please contact us

Please allow 1-2 business days for your recipe proof to be emailed to you. After you approve your proof your order will be shipped out in 2-3 business days. Shipping time depends on the shipping method & carrier you choose at checkout.Proofing and printing times will be longer in December. Please check our top banner for updates.

Due to the custom nature of all of our products, we work hard to ensure every item is of the highest quality and that your proof is approved before shipping. If you received the wrong product, incorrect print, or your product was damaged in transit, we will gladly replace it for you. Please let us know within 48 hours of receiving your order in this case.

If you are unsatisfied with your product, we will work to find a resolution. Our goal is to make sure you love your gifts!
